Agree or not, I love seeing this neutral decorating trend, from all gray kitchens to togray and white kitchens🇧🇷 It's a combination that can be modern or rustic (or modern rustic) or more classic or contemporary, depending on the style of the cabinets, the choice of hardware and the shade of gray of the cabinets.
Now I still love minewhite kitchen cabinetsbut since i have two houses, i get the best of both worldsgray kitchen cabinetsalso in the other kitchen. (Although none of the kitchens are finished in my opinion... #You know you're a remodeling junkie)

We started seeing the gray kitchen move into the all-white kitchen scene in 2015 at the Parade of Homes we attended. Although the trend has been around for a while, I don't think it will be a short-lived trend because dark gray kitchen cabinets can be so classic and striking, especially when paired with brighter contrasting lights.

This charcoal gray kitchen uses open shelving beneath the cabinets for a great mix of open shelving style and functional storage hidden behind cabinet doors. The square overlapping extractor hood fits seamlessly into the swing doors of the wall units.

While we've been seeing dark gray kitchen cabinets for a number of years, the trend towards light gray kitchen cabinets is more recent. I think it's a good middle ground between a love of modern, classic grays and a desire for a brighter, whiter kitchen.
This gray kitchen takes all grey: light gray kitchen cabinets, gray upholstered bar stools, and a dark gray barn door to the foyer. The glittery glass tile backsplash and school brass charms add the perfect sparkle.
